Research Interests:
Low-temperature Thermochronology, including fission track analysis and (U-Th)/He dating. Laser Ablation ICPMS U-Pb Geochronology of accessory minerals with particular focus on apatite. Development of same-grain triple-dating (fission-track, (U-Th)/He, U-Pb) in detrital zircon and apatite.
Applying these techniques to address:
A) Interaction between Erosion, Tectonics, Climate and Landscape Evolution.
B) Regional Tectonics, Tectonic Geomorphology, and Structural Geology.
C) Combining multiple geochronological, thermochronological, and geochemical techniques on detrital minerals to establish sediment provenance, and stratigraphic and depositional ages of sedimentary rocks.
