Geosciences Wish List

The C.O.R.E. (Creating Opportunities to Retain and Engage) Fund helps to sustain and build upon our legacy of combining state-of-the-art classroom, field, laboratory, and computational training and engagement for all our students. Supporters of this fund help the department to make much needed repairs, send faculty and students to educational and outreach presentations, invite world-renowned researchers to speak on campus, and arrange inclusive team-building activities for faculty, researchers, staff, and students.

A unique facility to bring together students, faculty, and professionals in industry and government for training, teaching, and research using state-of-the-art platforms for computational methods applied to geodynamics, geophysics, and climate and ocean modeling.
UA Gem & Mineral Museum
The museum is on track to open in early 2020, and that depends on you! In order to take advantage of this opportunity, the museum must raise a minimum of $5-$10 million. The $11 million Pima County Courthouse renovation is targeted for completion in 2019, and the lower level labs could be opened before the end of 2018. Help make the vision a reality!
Cheers to Success
Raise a toast to the success of Geosciences, and sponsor a round to help celebrate our mini-triumphs! If you do, we will celebrate you, as well. We'll put your name on this page and begin filling our mugs! $20 fills a mug and $100 fills a pitcher!
