XtalDraw is an interactive Win95/98/00/NT computer program that draws crystal and molecular structures as ball and stick, polyhedral, and thermal ellipsoid representations. The program is distributed with a large set of datafiles and it also reads the thousands of data from the American Mineralogist Crystal Structure Database.
The program is distributed free of charge. Click here to download the program.
Support for the development of the software has come from the National Science Foundation, The Dibble Foundation, The Carnegie Institution of Washington, Virginia Tech and the University of Arizona.
