Petrography
We use petrographic observations as one
of the primary tool for our research. Our laboratory consists of several
petrographic microscopes including a high end Nikon EPOL600 and stereo
microscopes. We also use a universal stage for lattice preferred orientation
measurements. The microscopes are equipped with digital cameras.
