UofA Geosciences' Ananya Mallik and Jessica Tierney are Executive Editors of Newly Formed Journal
Congratulations to Assisstant Professor Ananya Mallik and Professor Jessica Tierney, Executive Editors of a newly formed journal!
The new periodical is a community-led diamond open access journal on Geochemistry and Cosmochemistry called ‘Advances in Geochemistry and Cosmochemistry.’ It has just been launched and will be open for submissions in January 2025. The journal joins the club of several recently formed open access journals that are free to publish and free to read, such as Volcanica, Tektonika, Seismica, Geomorphica and Sedimentologika . Advances in Geochemistry and Cosmochemistry is currently recruiting Handing Editors (the equivalent of Associate Editors) and Copy Editors and welcomes applications from the community. Please spread the word about this effort to make scientific publishing more accessible.
