Geos 195D: A Sense of Place is an introductory course that teaches the natural environment of Tucson through field trips along the Santa Cruz River, Tucson Mountains, Cañada Del Oro and Biosphere, and Catalina Mountains with an emphasis on geologic and biologic factors which have influenced Tucson's development and interaction between society and the environment.
