This is a picture of 'Magesium White' marble, highly sought after by sculpters the world over. At approximately 68 pounds per cubic foot, this piece weights in at about 700 pounds.
The marble at this site is some of the best avalible in the world today. The colors range from
'Mg.White', to white with green tiger stripe and brown tiger stripe. There are a few rare peices of blue tiger stripe recovered from this site.
