For over two years I captured digital images and video with my beloved FUJI 2800Z. Unfortunately, the camera met a tragic end in 2004. This is its final image:
As you may ascertain, the evening's celebration of the end of the DRACULA seismic experiment threatened peril for more than just pricey electronics. As it turns out, my camera perished when a colleague moved one of the beer meter sticks, sending the newly repaired 2800Z on a one way trip to the cruel Eastern European stone floor-brittle deformation at its finest. Later in the evening I was too intoxicated to care anyway, but sometimes the pain revisits me. Ok, not really, because...
I now own two replacement cameras, an inexpensive and regularly abused Canon A400 and a white-trash-wins-the-lotto Nikon D50 digital SLR which produces joy beyond any attempted description.
