Scientific Drilling

I am actively involved in promoting the use of scientific drilling as a tool for exploring the climatic and ecosystem history records preserved in lakes. I currently serve as a member of the Board of Directors of DOSECC the US academic consortium that supports scientific drilling on the continents, and am the co-editor of the DOSECC Document Best Practices in the Development of Scientific Drilling Projects.
