Geolgic Mapping

 

All of our field studies include a substantial component of geologic mapping at scales ranging from 1:100 to 1:50,000. Current projects in the California Coast Ranges, the Southern Sierra Nevada, the Nepalese Himalayas and the South Carpathians rely on topographic base-maps, aerial photographs, and satellite imagery.
