This course provides detailed background on the negotiation and acquisition strategies used in financing mineral resource development.  Students will be able to demonstrate successful negotiation strategies and write the terms of a successful acquisition of a mineral property.

Applied Valuation of Mineral Assets and Projects

This course provides detailed background on the financing, valuation, and risk assessment for mining properties and projects.  Students will be able to value a mining venture and understand how to find market comparables and assess risk.

This course gives students hands-on experience in the planning, implementation, analysis, and continuous improvement processes for engaging with project stakeholders.

Introduction to Social and Environmental Assessment


This course introduces students to the basics of the social and environmental assessment process, gives hands-on experience in the planning and analytical processes, and focuses on the evaluations to be accomplished during each phase of the project cycle.
