   Ph.D. Candidate in Reflection Seismology.  Maria Soledad Velasco earned an M.S. Degree from the University of Memphis working on high-resolution seismic analysis of New Madrid earthquake deposits.  She now is working on analysis of the Tertiary to recent tectonic evolution of the Great Salt Lake region from seismic reflection and satellite GPS data.
