| Major: | | Double major--1)Dance 2) Italian--what a pair, eh? |
| Hometown: | | Austin, TX |
| About myself: | | ONE paragraph about me? Just one? The first thing I'll tell you is
that I'm a writer, so it's a good thing you put a limit on it.
First and most important: I'M GRADUATING IN MAY. AMEN. Let's see, I've
been a dancer all of my life and was drawn to the U of A
on account of the prestige of the dance department (Did ANYone know that
we happen to have one of the best in the nation??? Didn't think so...).
Spent last fall ('96) living/studying/traveling/dancing in Italy and added
the Italian major when I got back last spring. Quick math...yes, that
means I
will be not only finishing two majors in 4 years, but one of them, not
added until spring of my junior year, will
have been completed in only three semesters of those four years. Phew. I'm
fluent in Italian and miss the country terribly--spend a lot of time
on-line with my friends there, etc. "Homesick", if you will. After
graduation (and a trip back to Italy), I'll be moving to New York City to
start my career on Broadway. LEMME AT IT. |
| My goals for NSC 105: | | My goals for the class are pretty much those which were outlined as the
intended purpose of the class--make science relevant, fun, interesting,
accessible. I come from a long line of scientists, doctors and
mathmeticians (I'm the token artist) and those are about the only fields
I can't enter a fair-fight with them on. |
