Tracy Greer

Major:   Journalism
Hometown:   Las Cruces, New Mexico
About myself:   To begin with, I am (like most journalism majors) a news junkie. Newsweek, Time, CNN, Headline News, you name it, I'll read or watch it. I LOVE the production of publications: layout, photography, reporting, editing, everything. Last semester I worked for the Arizona Daily Wildcat, but this semester I'm working for the photocopy department in the library. My parents are both public school educators and I have a tragically sarcastic sixteen year old brother. In my spare time (spare time? What is that?) I enjoy going for coffee with my friends. I am a hopeless caffene addict...
My goals for NSC 105:   I hope to obtain from this class not only three of my science credits, but a better knowledge of the scientific evens in the news today. I firmly believe you cannot report what you don't have an understanding of. Combination of scientific literacy and media literacy. Also, I hope to do well enough to make the final exam a breeze, seeing that it is scheduled for 8 a.m. on May 12, my birthday...
