We released the findings of our Woodhouse and Overpeck (1998) paper on U.S. drought at a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. Among the widespread media attention was this editorial in the Denver Post of one of our recommendations for water sustainability in the arid and semi-arid west.
