Climate Forcing and Change of the Last 1000 Years

Overview

An overarching goal of our research is to understand the extent to which the climate change of the last century is due to human and/or natural (e.g., solar and volcanic) forcing. Our research strategies include: 1) collection of new multi-century-long records (both forcing and response [multi-proxy]); 2) synthesis of new and existing records; and 3) 3-D climate modeling. Focus is global.
