The Society of Earth Science Students is an undergraduate-run organization dedicated to providing students with valuable exposure to the earth sciences, including field experience.

Active throughout the Fall and Spring semesters, the club offers weekly meetings with featured speakers, outreach to the community, and the main attraction: exciting and varied field trips.

SESS also operates the large junior education section of the world famous Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, held annually in February.

The Society is open to all students, regardless of major. Take a look at what we have to offer and stop by one of our meetings Fridays at 12pm in the Gould-Simpson building room 201.
