To give you time to find your assigned seat, please self-report your attendance under "SURVEYS" 2:00pm - midnight on the day of the lecture or workshop.

REVISED ASSIGNED SEATING
A revised Assigned Seating chart has been prepared, based on the Sun Jan 17 D2L class list.
It includes all seating assignments made up to that date.
Please use these seat numbers is submitting your Attendance Surveys. This chart will be in effect until the final chart is prepared Sat Jan 23.
Thereafter, attendance will be based on the seating charts marked by the GTAs.
Fifty-five students have been present on both of the first two days of class.

Peer-Review Pairings have been made and set up on D2L. On the NATS104 homepage, click on " |Discussions| " in the blue bar near the top of the page. Scroll-down or search for your name under the topic you selected in the "Term Paper Topic REQUIRED for Wksps 9 10 & Term Paper" workshop.
Your First Draft is not due in the folder until after Spring Break, but DON'T PUT IT OFF UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!

LATE TOPIC SELECTION -- D2L
Several students failed to select a topic for the term paper. Based on their emails, there are two primary reasons for the failure (1) the student did not read the instructions (2) the student put off the selection workshop to the last minute. A late topic selection exercise -- "Term Paper Topic (late)" -- will be available to students who correctly answer 7/10 questions on the "Remedial Quiz for Topic Selection" To pass this exam, you will first need to carefully re-read both the class syllabus and the instructions for the term paper (Wk6.rtf .pdf).
