The scanned image you showed me clearly had strips from localities 5 (South Windsor, Conn.) and 14 (S. Hadley Falls, Mass.). The third visible strip is of VERY great interest. It has marked on it Weathersfield Bow, Vt. which is a site that Antevs did not report but is between localities 42 and 43 on the west side of the Connecticut River. My guess is that somewhere in this bundle are probably the strips from localities 41-43 and possibly some other unreported localities like the one from Weathersfield Bow, Vt.

Image 122-a shows a D.G. or D.L, which is either Dick Goldthwait, teenager at the time - later professor at Ohio State, or Dick Lougee later a professor at Dartmouth and Clark Univ.). Every plot indicates who measured the varves in the field.
The date is 25.8.21 (August 25, 1921)
The 1/1 plot in the lower left (when title is upright) is probably above 6638 but is not marked with varve numbers.
All other comments and directions appear to be in Swedish or include a standard symbol system that I haven't yet been able to crack.

A good example of the information on the scans can be seen on 122-b. Here is what I can make out: Ascutneyville, Vt. Locality 61 (6608-6638) Date: 16.8.21 (Aug. 16, 1921) with an added date of 25.8.21. Dates are in European nomenclature: d/m/yr.
- the parentheses mean the site was not used to compile the final records in Antevs (1922). This is a notation Antevs explains in a listing of sections in Antevs (1922).
The graph was plotted at 1/3 in its lower part (right side near 6608) and at 1/1 in its upper part as well. This is not two separate records but the same record twice where they overlap.
The plot is signed: E.A. (for Ernst Antevs) & J.W.G. (for Joseph W. Goldthwait who was a professor at Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH and Antevs' host while he was doing field work in NH and VT).
1/1 plot on lower left is above 6638 but not marked with New England varve numbers - note at end of this plot says measured section is overlain by: 4 m plus or minus disturbed varves then overlain by 6 m of sand beneath terrace surface.

Locality (no # on scan), Rumney B., N.H. Date: July 29, 1921. Signed: E. Antevs and J.W. Goldthwait. Plot ends at varve 114 on left. This section if the name is correct is located near Rumney, N.H. in Baker River Valley, which is about 30 km east of the Connecticut Valley at the latitude of Lyme, N.H. This may explain why there are no varve numbers. Reference is also made to Quincy Station, which is just east of Rumney. No one until this point knew that these measurements existed. J.W. Time measurements of an ice readvance at Littleton, N.H. Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 21: 36-41.) and Crosby, I.B., (1934a. Extension of the Bethlehem, New Hampshire, moraine. Journal of Geology, 42: 411-421; and 1934b. Geology of Fifteen Mile Falls development. Civil Engineering, 4: 21-24. 29 The scanned plot on onion skin shows the creation of the varve stratigraphy that Antevs later published in his 1922 report. These are likely the original plots of the varve stratigraphy used to formulate outcrop matches and compile overlapping sequences. The use of onion skin paper was to allow the plots to be transparent while superposing two graphs to identify correlative peaks. Note that there are 4-digit numbers of the New England varve chronology in the 5600's but also numbers such as 170 that are the outcrop numbers prior to matching. The 4-digit numbers are posted after the plot is correlated to the main sequence. This is the upper end of Antevs' plot from locality 29 near Fort Hill (station), NH (see Antevs' label: "Fort Hill N."). Locality 29 begins at 5438 and 170 varves from that should be 5607 which is where Antevs has his 170 mark on the onion skin. Antevs did not report varves 5601-5613 from the Connecticut Valley (shown on the plot) but used a correlative sequence from the Hudson Valley in his publication. At the top of the image is "c. 5 m sand and gravel" just as he reports in his 1922 publication. Antevs also has some sort of notation that shows up on the plot in the form of illegible messages, side ways parentheses, heavy dots in circles, dashes, etc.
